Film & TV

Required Course:
Foundations of Filmmaking
3 Credits
Build on-camera performance skills: working with directors, hitting marks, and adapting performance for the lens.
Discover how a story develops from its first concept into a visual experience. Explore the relationship between writing, directing, cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing while building an understanding of how each discipline shapes the finished production.

Build on-camera performance skills: working with directors, hitting marks, and adapting performance for the lens.

Develop original stories in industry-standard screenplay format, from concept and structure to character and dialogue.

Learn the editor’s craft: assembling footage, shaping story and pacing, and managing a professional post workflow.

Technical Video Production & Post-Production
The craft track: camera for sport, live audio mixing, multi-camera systems and switching, graphics and replay, lighting and ENG kits, and post-production from ingest to delivery.
Afternoon
Sports News Media
The editorial track: sports story forms, interviewing athletes and staff, rundown production, writing to picture, feature profiles, and social-first content for a federation media operation.
